What is Top Transfers?
Top Transfers is a daily football transfer leaderboard quiz by Playmaker where fans guess the top 10 all-time record signings for a featured club or nationality. Each daily challenge presents ten hidden leaderboard slots ordered from the most expensive record transfer down to the tenth largest fee. Players input football player names to fill the transfer board before accumulating three strikes. Correct answers lock onto the board with their transfer fee in Euros, buying club, selling club, and signing year. Players can activate hints to reveal transfer fee amounts or signing years for locked slots. Top Transfers covers verified senior transfer records across global football from 1990 to present, with streak tracking, VAR appeals, and daily puzzle refreshes at midnight UTC.
Database Coverage: Official senior appearances and transfers since 1990 plus verified historic legends throughout club history (updated to September 2026).
VAR Verification: Players can submit any disputed answer to the automated VAR engine to appeal real-world transfer and appearance records.
