What is Top Scorers?
Top Scorers is a daily football goalscoring trivia puzzle by Playmaker celebrating the most prolific strikers and golden boot winners across football history. Each day presents a specific goalscoring category — such as all-time top scorers for a club, a single Champions League season, or a World Cup tournament. Players must name qualifying goalscorers to uncover the top leaderboard positions before running out of lives. Correct guesses display official goal tallies, season years, and player nationalities. Players can trigger hints to reveal goal totals or national flags. The database covers verified senior official goal records across the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, and international tournaments. New challenges launch every day at 00:00 UTC with full streak statistics.
Database Coverage: Official senior appearances and transfers since 1990 plus verified historic legends throughout club history (updated to September 2026).
VAR Verification: Players can submit any disputed answer to the automated VAR engine to appeal real-world transfer and appearance records.
